JOIN KEVIN FOR HIS BEHIND-THE-SCENE VISITS DURING PARIS DESIGN WEEK
Kevin Gray has returned to the U.S. after a whirlwind trip to Milan, Venice, and Paris. After meetings in Milan and Venice to work on his lamp production for the recently relaunched Orbit and Zandt Lamps, Kevin arrived in time for the annual Paris Design Week 2023 and Maison et Object. A vital part of Paris Design Week is Kevin’s visits with his local vendors and sources. As an interior designer, Kevin’s travels are vital for design inspiration and enhance his ability to provide his clients with the latest design sources and trends before they cross the pond to America. To maintain relationships with global vendors, manufacturers, and dealers, travel is critical for Kevin to source the best pieces for his design projects and create the best interiors for his clients.
While in Paris, Kevin celebrated his birthday with lunch at the Halle Aux Grains – Bras Paris restaurant on the third floor of the Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection. The Bourse de Commerce was once Paris’ Stock Exchange and is the latest museum that offers a perspective on contemporary art.
Another one of Kevin’s secret haunts while living in Paris in the 80s and 90s was Le Grand Véfour – a gastronomical restaurant that has been the finest gourmet rendez-vous of the Parisian political, artistic, and literary society for more than 200 hundred years. Le Grand Véfour was the perfect restaurant of choice for Kevin to celebrate the accolade of his Orbit Lamp being exhibited at Maison et Objet during Paris Design Week!
What an inspiring week we had during Paris Design Week 2023, celebrating HOLLY HUNT‘s 40th Anniversary, including VIP events, exclusive design tours, open houses, and private previews.
