After graduating from Parsons School of Design in Paris in 1981, Kevin Gray established a design studio near his residence. Over the next 12 years, Kevin focused on designing lamps that were manufactured in France, Italy, and Germany, and sold globally. In early 2021, Kevin was contacted by Lumen Center Italia in Milan, Italy, who requested permission to relaunch his Orbit lamp during Design Week Milano 2021.

Kevin returned to Lumen Center Italia headquarters in July 2022 to see the first Black Orbit Lamp Prototype come to fruition. Kevin is pleased to present the advancement inItalian technology that makes the Orbit Lamp the unique design of its kind. The Orbit Lamp will be exhibited at SALONE DEL MOBILE 2023.

Kevin is thrilled to have The Orbit Lamp back in production!
In July 2022 Kevin returned to the LUMEN CENTER ITALIA to see the first production of the Black Zandt Lamp. The latest Italian technology allows the Lamp to rotate 360 degrees without restriction, which makes it a unique Mid-century Modern Design Classic and collectible.
