Preview Tour of Santa Maria Brickell Duplex Penthouse Project
Santa Maria is a 1997 bayfront condominium building by Miami developer Ugo Columbo. Located along the southern end of Brickell Avenue in Miami, Santa Maria’s luxury apartments offer stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay and the city.
The apartment is over 10,000 square feet over two stories featuring large entertainment spaces, a private rooftop pool, extraordinary views and 6 bedrooms with 7.5 bathrooms.
Kevin has worked with his clients for over 20 years in their apartment on the top two floors at the Santa Maria, with 12,000 square feet of double-height ceilings and terraces with panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and downtown Miami. The apartment originally had colorful onyx inlaid floors, Venetian plaster walls, heavy wood doors and a kitchen with dark cabinets and counters.
Today, the apartment has continuous white marble floors, white walls, white lacquer and gray counters in the kitchen. The renovated newly white kitchen has Fuscia pendant lights over the island and table by Achille Castiglion / Flos. Breaking the rules, Kevin combined vintage modern pieces from Breton, Donghia and Memphis alongside the English antique furniture that has been in the family for over 200 years. The living room coffee table was originally an opium bed, and atop is a prototype of a French missile from the clients when they lived in Paris. Kevin grounded the upper story ‘party room’ with soaring 3 story ceilings and expansive terraces with Donghia’s 1990’s Block Island furniture designed by John Hutton back in the roaring 90s, a Breton dining table and chairs, and Moroccan armoires.
The two-story gallery leading to the staircase showcases the owner’s art collection curated from around the world and features Cuban and South American art. The 3 story playroom with its amazing views is often used for fundraisers and charitable events.
A private rooftop Jacuzzi pool overlooking the Bay of Biscayne sits atop this one-of-a-kind luxury condo.
