This original 1950s home was stripped of its 1980s alterations and restored the school of mid-century modern style and splendor. The kitchen was designed in lacquer and light wood, opened to flow into the dining room as the eye continues on to the enclosed front porch that ends with magnificent ocean views. Designer Kevin Gray used glass and chiseled gray granite brick columns as well as an island to anchor the open kitchen. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also opened with the use of large windows and finished with light blue and green glass stacked brick tile. The project was finished with sandstone porcelain floors throughout the home. The stairway was striped of all tile and wooden colonial handrails to expose the structure and custom handrails of steel and teak flow from stairway total exterior terraces.

Attention was devoted to every aspect of the adjacent TV Room. The TV Room features Kevin’s Signature Padded Walls designed to enhance depth and sound.  Hinson & Co Glass Cylinder Lamps, Custom Grass Cloth Shades, and a Round Side Table in Madagascar Veneer Wood and Lucite by Kevin Gray Design bring a serenity to the room. Complemented by iconic Midcentury pieces such as the 1974 Black Wool Fabric Arne Jacobsen Egg Chair & Footstall for Fritz Hansen, Archipelago Ottoman in Brown Leather and Lucite by Kevin Gray Design, Gilt Metal and Leopard Velvet Print Chaise Longue by Jean Royère, the 1950s Standing Lamp 1 Arm by Serge Mouille, and stylish Floating Book Shelves, this space is thoughtfully curated to harmonize with the beachfront vistas overlooking the bay.
