This 1940’s Streamline home is located in Hollywood ( FL ) Historic District, adjacent to private golf course, and is walking distance from the beach. Situated on a corner lot, the house gained recognition as a filming location for the movie ‘The Hours.’ While the house itself exudes the charm of original architecture, the kitchen had become outdated since its last renovation in the 1980s. In order to restore the kitchen to match the grandeur of the Art Deco and Mid Century elements of the home, Kevin Gray undertook a project to completely gut and rebuild the space. Kevin found a beautiful 1940’s chandelier in an aluminum and glass from Art and Industry in Berlin. He also purchased a set of Vintage Milo Bauman bar stools from Palm Beach Modern Auctions.
