CABANA IN THE SKY

This great party venue sits atop a 50th floor duplex with huge roof deck and private pool. Kevin Gray (KGD) designed the open kitchen and bar for entertaining. The adjoining seating area was anchored with Donghia’s “blockhouse” collection of sofas and club chairs, a leather and lucite foot ottoman/coffee table, and a vintage Breuton dining table with chairs and pillows upholstered with custom woven, coral bouclé fabric. KGD-designed lucite side tables and glass lamps with raffia lamp shades add a 70’s element to the room. The tinted and triple-paned windows are deliberately unadorned, framing the constantly changing tropical skies.
