For this corner apartment at 15 Central Park West, the homage to pre-war New York, Kevin Gray (KGD) designed interiors with a 1930’s aesthetic and colors to respond to Central Park and the city-scape. Built-in ambient lighting in soffits with drapery pockets were designed for all windows. All furnishings were carefully selected to complement the clients’ modern art collection. Custom woven fabrics were meticulously chosen for each room bringing harmony to composition of the entire apartment. Antique furnishing’s such as 1940’s Italian and French chandeliers and wall sconces, were placed throughout.
