Before & After: Bathroom Transformations by Kevin Gray Design

Bathroom Renovations by Interior Designer Kevin Gray

Personal Retreat. Urban Zen. Serene Spa.

Bathrooms are the most personal room in your home – and often the smallest. The bathroom is the room where form meets function, and typically where you begin your day and end your day. The need for practicality doesn’t mean a bathroom can’t have major design impact. Small but critical design decisions deliver both style and efficiency in the bathroom.

These aspirational bathroom #BeforeAndAfter makeovers by interior designer Kevin Gray and the Kevin Gray Design team feature both big makeovers and small design trends to meet your #bathroomgoals!

Bay Harbor Island

Kevin Gray Design did a gut renovation to this home overlooking Biscayne Bay and La Gorce Island, including a new spa bathroom that utilizes eco-friendly recycled porcelain materials emulating Calcutta marble, LED lighting, a spa bathtub with a 24″ rain shower, and separate toilet and bidet. KGD added a glass wall to provide privacy for the tub and sinks (see featured image above).

Tribeca Loft Staged for Sale

This Tribeca loft with historic and stunning views of lower Manhattan had been on the market for over a year. Kevin Gray Design was then asked to come and stage/style to enhance the views and beauty of this spectacular loft, and it sold in less than a week at FULL ASKING price of $6 million!

“Next to kitchens, bathrooms are the number two selling point in most homes.”

Cedric Stewart, Entourage RG at Keller Williams in Washington D.C.

Designer’s Own Palm Bay Condo in Miami Beach

When it came time to remodel the bathroom in his own home, interior designer Kevin Gray provided spy-worthy drama by designing glass partitions that open the master bedroom and bath – with floating tub – to city and water views. Kevin can watch the sunrise over Biscayne Bay from his tub!

Art in the bathroom? Why Not!

Statement art is a major trend in bathroom design, and Kevin Gray Design is known for adding sophistication to his clients’ bathrooms. Not only does art add style and personality to the bathroom, but these three bathrooms by interior designer Kevin Gray demonstrate that art also provides an easy opportunity to switch-up your bathroom style simply by switching out your artwork to a piece in different colors and moods.
